1·In case of low voltage and heavy load, the relay loadability may replace the thermal loadability, leading to undesirable relay operation and cascading events.

2·Of course, there is still many problems needed to be solved, but it is believed that the online transmission line loadability estimation will face a good prospect.

3·This paper demonstrates the use of line stability index termed as fast voltage stability index (FVSI) in order to determine the bus maximum loadability in a power system.

4·Above all, online transmission line loadability estimation is helpful to improve the safety and reliability of power systems, while let the systems operating more economically.

5·This technique is tested on the IEEE system and the results prove that the technique can rapidly estimate the maximum loadability of each bus and find the weak bus in a power system.
