1·This paper deals with the application of A-evaporation pan and its affecting factors on sandy land fixed by artificial vegetation.

2·For measuring evaporation of shallow water lake and reservoir located in plain, it is important to know evaporative law of hydrophyte. The evaporation pan must be used with heat insulation.

3·And decreases in diurnal temperature range and wind speed were found to be the main influencing factors leading to the decrease of pan evaporation.
