1·India is depositing its instrument of ratification to the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.

2·The present Treaty shall come into force of each State which subsequently ratifies it, on the date of the deposit of its instrument of ratification.

本条约应自个别国家之批准书送达后，对该批准国家个别生效。

3·Countries must deposit the instrument of ratification (or equivalent) in New York by 8 November 2005 to participate with full powers in the first Conference of the Parties.

国家必须在2005年11月8日之前将批准书(或相当文书)交存于纽约以便全权参加第一届缔约方会议。

4·Any entity not covered by paragraph (2) shall become bound by this Treaty three months after the date on which it has deposited its instrument of ratification or accession.

第(2)款范围之外的实体应自其交存批准书或加入书之日起三个月之后受本条约约束。

5·Unless it has already done so, each country shall indicate, concurrently with depositing its instrument of ratification or accession, the class to which it wishes to belong.

除已经指定等级外，每一国家应在交存批准书或加入书的同时，表明自己愿属哪一等级。

6·Any State that becomes a Contracting Party will be bound by the Treaty 90 days following the deposit of its instrument of ratification (or equivalent) in the United Nations Headquarters.

成为缔约方的任何国家自其批准文书(或具有同等效应的文书)交存于联合国总部之日后第90天起将受条约的约束。

7·Each country may, at the time it signs this Act or deposits its instrument of ratification or accession, declare that it does not consider itself bound by the provisions of paragraph (1).

每一国家在本议定书上签字或递交批准书或加入书时，可以声明它认为自己不受第(1)款规定的约束。

8·For any country ratifying or acceding to it later this Convention shall enter into force on the ninetieth day after the said country has deposited its instrument of ratification or accession.

若有的国家嗣后批准或加入，本公约将自该国交存其批准或加入的文件后的第九十天起，开始对该国生效。

9·Countries that deposit the instrument of ratification or equivalent before November 2005 will be voting Contracting Parties during the first COP, which is scheduled to take place in February 2006.

在2005年11月之前交存批准文书或相应文书的国家将是预定于2006年2月召开的第一届缔约方会议期间有投票权的缔约国。

10·It is understood that, at the time a country deposits its instrument of ratification or accession, it will be in a position under its domestic law to give effect to the provisions of this Convention.

不言而喻，各国在递交其批准书或加入书时将能根据其本国法律实施本公约的规定。
