六子是亚米利，七子是以萨迦，八子是毗乌利太，因为神赐福与俄别以东。

5·So David did not take the ark home into the city of David, but took it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.

于是大卫不将约柜运进大卫的城，却运到迦特人俄别以东的家中。

6·He left also Obed-edom, with his sixty-eight kinsmen. Obed-edom son of Jeduthun, and Hosah were to be keepers of the gate.

还有敖贝得厄东和他的同族兄弟六十八人。又派耶杜通的儿子敖贝得厄东，还有曷撒为守卫。

7·And it was told King David, the LORD has blessed the household of Obed-edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.

有人告诉大卫王说：“耶和华因为约柜赐福给俄别以东的家和一切属他的。”

8·So David was not willing to take the ark of the LORD into the city of David. But David took it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.

于是大卫不肯将耶和华的约柜运进大卫的城，却运到迦特人俄别以东的家中。

9·So David and the elders of Israel and the commanders of thousands went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the house of Obed-edom with rejoicing.

于是，大卫和以色列的长老，并千夫长都去从俄别以东的家欢欢喜喜地将耶和华的约柜抬上来。

10·All these were descendants of Obed-Edom; they and their sons and their relatives were capable men with the strength to do the work-descendants of Obed-Edom, 62 in all.

这都是俄别以东的子孙，他们和他们的儿子并弟兄，都是善于办事的壮士。俄别以东的子孙共六十二人。
