1·And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.

大卫无论往哪里去，耶和华都使他得胜。

2·Whithersoever means wherever you go, God is with you.

“无论哪里”的意思是无论你在什么地方，神都与你同在。

3·Then David and his men, which were about six hundred, arose and departed out of Keilah, and went whithersoever they could go.

大卫和跟随他的约有六百人，就起身出了基伊拉，往他们所能往的地方去。

4·And the LORD was with him; and he prospered whithersoever he went forth: and he rebelled against the king of Assyria, and served him not.

18：7耶和华与他同在，他无论往何处去尽都亨通。他背叛，不肯事奉亚述王。

5·Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought gifts. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.

于是大卫在大马士革的亚兰地设立防营，亚兰人就归服他，给他进贡。大卫无论往哪里去，耶和华都使他得胜。

6·Whithersoever they went out, the hand of the LORD was against them for evil, as the LORD had said, and as the LORD had sworn unto them: and they were greatly distressed.

他们无论往何处去，耶和华都以灾祸攻击他们，正如耶和华所说的话，又如耶和华向他们所起的誓。他们便极其困苦。

7·Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.

看哪，船只虽然甚大，又被大风催逼，只用小小的舵，就随着掌舵的意思转动。
