1·In this paper, a class of more general plug flow reactor model is discussed.

2·Plug flow reactor(PFR) and Continuous stirred tank reactor(CSTR) were studied to compare their performance for treating dairy manure.

3·Although only heat balance of plug flow reactor was discussed in this article, the method could be applied in other types of reactors.

4·The first reactor is approximately ABR-type reactor, the second is a horizontal plug flow reactor, the third is the sub-region reactor.

5·The flux in the riser reactor is close to plug flow, which greatly demotes the back mixing.

6·Tests of flow pattern showed that the spiral up-flow character of the SUFR make it be similar to plug-flow-reactor, and it is favourable to form gradient distributing of the organism matter.
